The Eagle Specialty Products SIR6385B is a set of connecting rods designed for Big Block Chevy engines. These I-beam rods are forged from 5140 steel and feature a shot-peened surface for improved fatigue strength.

They are a direct upgrade from OE rods, with sizing held to exact tolerances and sold as a weight-matched set. These rods are recommended for naturally-aspirated, pump gas, road car use. Each rod includes a silicon-bronze pin bushing for full-floating piston pins and ARP 8740 capscrew rod bolts for reliability.

The Eagle Specialty Products SIR6385B is a set of connecting rods engineered for Big Block Chevy engines, offering an upgrade from stock components. Constructed from forged 5140 steel, these I-beam rods are put through a multi-stage heat treatment process to enhance their strength and durability. The surfaces are fully shot-peened to improve fatigue resistance. They are specifically recommended for naturally-aspirated, pump gas, and general road car applications. Each rod is equipped with a silicon-bronze pin bushing to accommodate full-floating piston pins and includes ARP 8740 capscrew rod bolts for reliable assembly. The set also comes with ARP Ultra-Torque Assembly lube for consistent bolt preload. Key specifications include a length of 6.385 inches, a bore diameter of 2.325 inches, a pin bore diameter of 0.990 inches, and a big-end width of 0.990 inches. The pin end width measures 1.125 inches. The recommended torque for these rods is 63 ft-lbs.
