Description

The TransGo SK 440-JR is a SHIFT KIT® Jr. Valve Body Repair Kit specifically designed to restore proper function and address common failure points in the 440T4 and 4T60 automatic transmissions. This comprehensive kit targets a range of common transmission problems, including second clutch failure, 1-2 slide-bump, delayed or absent up-shifts, lockup shudder or glazing, kick-down bang, soft shifts when the transmission is hot, accumulator leaks, and third clutch seal failure. By replacing or upgrading key components, the SK 440-JR helps to ensure smoother operation and prevent further damage. Included in the kit are upgraded seals for the accumulator and the third clutch, which are critical components for maintaining proper hydraulic pressure and clutch engagement. These enhanced seals contribute to the longevity and reliability of the transmission. The TransGo SK 440-JR Valve Body Repair Kit is designed for all 440T4 and 4T60 transmissions from the 1984 model year onwards.
