SK 6R80-G2 Valve Body Repair Kit

The TransGo SK 6R80-G2 SHIFT KIT® Valve Body Repair Kit is engineered to resolve common issues in the Ford GEN2 6R80 and 6R100 transmissions. Complaints like TCC shudder, rough coast down shifts, gear ratio errors (P0731-P0734, P0729), and shift error codes (P0781-P0784, P0829) often stem from wear in the pressure regulator (PR) valve bore and the pressure regulator valve balance bushing. This kit also addresses torque converter clutch regulator valve design and calibration issues contributing to TCC shudder. This kit features a hardened steel, drop-in, two-piece pressure regulator valve and a redesigned TCC regulator valve. These components have longer lands that restore hydraulic integrity by utilizing unworn areas of the bore and increase bore longevity by redistributing load. The kit includes USA-made components such as a patented drop-in hardened steel two-piece PR valve, an aluminum PR valve boost bushing, and a drop-in hardened steel TCC regulator valve. It also contains calibration springs, valve body bore plug wire retainers, and solenoid damper rubber inserts. This repair kit is compatible with 2015-2019 Ford vehicles equipped with the GEN2 6R80 transmission and 2017-on 6R100 transmissions. It is important to note that for GEN1 2006-2014 transmissions, TransGo part # SK 6R80-A should be used instead. Additionally, for high mileage valve bodies exhibiting persistent coast-down clunk or hot shifts, the Solenoid/Lube Regulator Repair Kit (6R80-VBR-WT or 6R80-VBR-NT) may be required to ream the solenoid regulator and lube regulator bores. The related Cooler Bypass Delete Kit (6R80-CLR-BYPASS) fits GEN1 and GEN2 6R60/6R80 but does not fit ZF6 transmissions. The Solenoid/Lube Regulator Repair Kit (6R80-VBR-WT) fits 6R60/75/80/100 GEN1/2 2006-20 and ZF6HP 19/26/32 GEN1 2003-on, but does not fit ZF6HP 21/28/34 GEN2.
