SK 722.6-A Valve Body Repair Kit

The TransGo SK 722.6-A is a SHIFT KIT® Valve Body Repair Kit engineered to enhance the performance and longevity of the 722.6, W5A-330, W5A-580, and NAG1 automatic transmissions. This kit is designed for vehicles equipped with these transmissions, manufactured from 1996 and newer. This repair kit specifically targets and corrects common issues experienced with these transmissions, including flare 2-3 upshifts, insufficient line pressure rise, torque converter clutch (TCC) slip or shudder, soft shifts, and shuddering during hard acceleration from a standstill. These problems are often attributed to wear in critical valve body components such as the pressure regulator (PR) valve bore, overlap regulator valve bushings, and the lube pressure regulator valve. The springs for the 2-3 shift pressure regulator and control pressure regulator valve are also prone to breaking. The SK 722.6-A SHIFT KIT® features a drop-in, USA-made hardened PR valve with extended lands, which restores hydraulic integrity by using unworn areas of the bore. It also includes a new drop-in lube regulator pressure valve system, complete with a bushing, valve, spring, and sleeve, to re-establish system function despite existing bore wear. Furthermore, the kit provides three overlap regulator valve bushings and replacement springs for the commonly failing springs in the valve body.
