SK Allison-Jr Valve Body Repair Kit

The TransGo SK Allison-Jr is a SHIFT KIT® Valve Body Repair Kit specifically designed for 2005 to 2010 General Motors vehicles equipped with the Allison 1000, 2000, and 2400 six-speed automatic transmissions. This kit addresses common transmission complaints such as neutralizing under heavy load, being stuck in one gear, and performance codes related to gear ratios and solenoids. This kit features two USA-made hardened steel trim valves, balls, inner and outer springs, and includes a drill bit for installation. Upon installation, the friction torque capacity of the holding clutches and brakes in 2nd through 6th gear is increased by approximately 100% when the lock-up clutch is off and line pressure is at maximum. Installation can be performed from the bottom without requiring transmission removal, making it ideal to install before significant engine horsepower upgrades to prevent internal damage. The SK Allison-Jr kit corrects or prevents issues like Slip 3-4, neutralization under load in 3rd or 4th gear, burnt C2 and C3 friction plates, and stuck-in-one-gear conditions. It also helps resolve specific trouble codes including P0732, P0733, P0734, P0735, P0766, and P0777. It is important to note that while this kit can be installed in 2001-2005 five-speed Allison transmissions, it will not provide the necessary torque capacity increase for 4th and 5th gears on these earlier models, and for those applications, part # ALLISON SK is recommended due to common C2 failures.
