SK Allison-Jr Valve Body Repair Kit

The TransGo Allison-Jr SHIFT KIT® Valve Body Repair Kit is engineered for 2005 to 2010 General Motors vehicles equipped with the Allison 1000, 2000, and 2400 six-speed automatic transmissions. This kit is designed to enhance friction plate durability and significantly increase the friction torque capacity of holding clutches and brakes in 2nd through 6th gear by approximately 100% when the lock-up clutch is off and line pressure is at maximum. Installation does not require transmission removal, making it ideal to install before adding engine horsepower to prevent internal damage. The SK Allison-Jr corrects and prevents issues such as 3-4 slip, neutralization under load in 3rd or 4th gear, burnt C2 and C3 friction plates, and transmission codes like P0732, P0733, P0734, P0735, P0766, and P0777. It includes USA-made hardened steel trim valves, balls, inner and outer springs, and a drill bit. While this kit fits 2001-2005 vehicles with the Allison five-speed transmission, it will not provide the necessary 111% torque capacity increase for 4th and 5th gear on these earlier models.
