Description

The TransGo SK RE4F04A is a SHIFT KIT® Valve Body Repair Kit engineered for the 4F20E and RE4F04A automatic transmissions manufactured between 1993 and 2002. This repair kit specifically targets and corrects problems including falling out of gear while at a stop sign, the absence of 3rd gear engagement after a 3-2 or 4-2 kickdown, and instances of 4-3 or 4-2 kickdown runaway. Furthermore, it addresses the common failure point of 3-4 clutch burnout and issues related to direct clutch (3rd gear) inner seal leaks, which can lead to seal wear and leakage. It also resolves the symptom of soft 1-2 and 2-3 shifts. Included with the kit are components specifically chosen to produce higher quality shifts and enhance overall transmission durability. Among these components are high-temperature, low-shrink sealing rings and an upgraded direct clutch (3rd gear) inner seal, ensuring better longevity and performance for critical transmission parts.
