SK Series Triple Disc Clutch

The Monster SK Series Triple Disc Clutch is engineered for high-performance applications, specifically for the 2004-2006 Pontiac GTO. This "big brother" to the SK Series twin clutch offers an increased power handling capacity of up to 1,300 RWHP/RWTQ, making it suitable for a wide range of modifications including bolt-ons, nitrous, superchargers, turbochargers, and stroker engines. Monster Clutch Company starts with a factory GM LT1 based pressure plate and modifies its lift, release, and plate load to enhance performance without increasing pedal effort. The inclusion of their Kelvar™ material allows for a significant power rating increase compared to carbon organic friction materials. A robust floater plate prevents warping and ensures consistent release, even at high RPMs, while maintaining compatibility with factory GM hydraulics up to 7000 rpm. The clutch assembly includes segmented Kelvar™ discs, a 20lbs billet steel flywheel, pilot bearing, alignment tool, hardware, and a slave cylinder. The design focuses on factory driving characteristics, aiming for smooth operation, no chatter, and a factory engagement feel, provided an aftermarket master cylinder is not used (as this can increase pedal effort).
