The Mustang Geek Skid Plate is a protective component designed for Maximum Motorsports K-members in 1979-2004 Mustangs. It is constructed from 0.188-inch thick, laser-cut 304 stainless steel. The plate features 13-degree leading and trailing angles to help the vehicle slide over obstacles.

This durable component is crafted from 0.188-inch thick, laser-cut 304 stainless steel, ensuring robust protection. Its design incorporates 13-degree leading and trailing angles, allowing the car to slide more easily over obstacles, whether moving forward or backward. This skid plate is specifically designed for 1979-2004 Mustangs equipped with Maximum Motorsports K-members. For proper fitment, the steering rack must be mounted in the middle hole or higher, utilizing the MM steering rack bushings. It attaches easily via the steering rack bolts, offering a straightforward installation process. Important fitment note: This skid plate does NOT fit or benefit Mustangs with convertible bracing that attaches to the K-member. Installation instructions are included to guide you through the process.
