Skip Shift Eliminator

The SLP 21008 Skip Shift Eliminator is designed to disable the "skip shift" or CAGS (Computer Aided Gear Selection) feature found in many manual transmissions. This often unwanted feature forces a driver into specific gears at low speeds, which can be an annoyance. This eliminator provides a simple plug-in solution to bypass this function without requiring any cutting or splicing of factory wiring. Installation involves accessing the transmission, carefully unplugging the connector from the skip shift solenoid, and then plugging the SLP eliminator in line. This skip shift eliminator is noted for its compatibility with a range of vehicles. It fits 1997-2013 Corvettes with a 6-speed manual transmission, as well as Chevrolet Camaros (including V8 and ZL1 models from 2010-2014), Pontiac GTOs, G8s, and Dodge Challengers equipped with manual transmissions. It is important to note that this part will not fit Cadillac CTS-V applications.
