Manufactured from lightweight, EV8 stainless steel one-piece forgings, Skunk2’s Standard Compression Pro Series Valves for Honda’s K-series VTEC engines are heat-treated using a proprietary process, resulting in extraordinary strength and durability. Standard Compression Pro Series Valves are direct replacements and offer weight savings as high as 10 grams each for exceptional performance. All Pro Series Valves feature hardened tips that resist deformation and galling that’s often associated with aggressive, high-lift camshafts. Other valves may appear similar, but only Pro Series Valves feature specially designed valve head profiles to optimize airflow. Each Pro Series Valve is CNC machined, polished, and finished off with a black, nitride coating that reduces friction and increases wear resistance.
