Softride springs are made with American steel. Individual leafs are shot-peened with hard steel pellets at high velocities, which compresses the surface of the steel and increases the tensile strength of the spring. Softride springs utilize bolt-style spring clips, which eliminates friction common in other designs that use 'C' style bend clips that can cause binding and friction.
