It is designed to work in tandem with the SL-450-VSTRF front carburetor to provide consistent, matched performance for street rod setups. The unit features all-aluminum construction with a polished body for improved weight reduction and thermal efficiency. Technically, this carburetor utilizes a square bore flange and incorporates race-derived innovations such as changeable air bleeds and power valve channel restrictions. It is equipped with a single metering block and a secondary metering plate that allows for jet changes. Universal throttle levers are included, providing compatibility for Ford A/T kickdown, GM 700 R4 mounting holes, and brackets for Chrysler vehicles. The setup includes a single sight glass window for easy monitoring and adjustable needles and seats. Installation of this carburetor is compatible with square bore intake manifolds. For users currently operating with a spreadbore style intake manifold, an adapter is required to ensure proper fitment.
