Slide Kontrol Drift Coilover Kit

The KSport Slide Kontrol Drift Coilover Kit is engineered specifically for 1999-2005 BMW 3 Series RWD (E46) models, aiming to enhance performance for drifting. Its specialized valving is tuned to stabilize the chassis during rapid direction changes and transitions common in drifting. The kit includes front pillowball mounts with camber adjustment and rear aluminum mounts, providing flexibility in suspension tuning. Constructed with an inverted steel shock absorber design, these coilovers offer increased response and better heat dissipation due to their large 55mm shock bodies and increased fluid volume. The spring rates are 50% stiffer than the Kontrol Pro systems, featuring linear rate springs (9.8 kg/mm front, 12.5 kg/mm rear). The collars and upper mounts are made from durable 6061 aluminum with T6 treatment for hardness, and the electroplated body protects against corrosion. The system provides 36 levels of damping adjustment and adjustable spring perches for precise ride height customization, along with adjustable lower mounts to maximize suspension travel. It is important to note that all suspension products in this line are designed for 2WD vehicles only. Furthermore, aftermarket coilovers are not compatible with OEM electronic damping control systems (such as EDC or DDS) unless explicitly stated.
