Slider Seat Mount

The PCI Racing SM-90MX5-S1R is a custom-designed slider seat mount engineered to simplify the installation of racing seats in 1990-2005 Mazda Miata (NA and NB) models. Constructed from a single piece of 1/8" (3mm) carbon steel, precision CNC laser cut and bent, this mount provides exceptional strength and stiffness. The design utilizes strategic bends to achieve comparable or superior strength to heavier 3/16" steel, ensuring a robust foundation for your seat. The PCI S1 sliders are a key feature, boasting a four-bolt mounting system to the base for twice the strength of typical two-bolt sliders. This mount ensures your seat will exceed the strength of the floor it's bolted to. Designed for direct bolt-on installation to factory seat mount locations, the SM-90MX5-S1R eliminates the need for self-fabrication. It offers multi-way adjustability, with a front-to-back adjustment range of 9 5/8”. The width adjustment for the standard side mounts ranges from 14-3/4” to 17-1/2”, with a specific 1-inch reduction for MX5 applications, resulting in a usable range of 13-3/4” to 16-1/2”. The mount also includes convenient mounting locations for 5 and 6-point sub-belts, a crucial feature for racing applications. All hardware is grade 10.9, 8mm, and the mount is finished with a powder coat and black nylon spacers.
