Slimline 3-Piston 286mm Front Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Slimline Big Brake Kit offers a significant upgrade for the Acura Integra DC2 1997-2001 Type R, addressing the challenge of fitting larger aftermarket calipers behind aggressive wheel fitments. Developed with a design inspired by OEM single-side piston caliper thickness, this kit ensures compatibility with most factory wheels or those offering very limited clearance. The kit features a 3-piston caliper design that maintains the appearance of Ksport's multi-piston calipers. It includes CNC machined carbon steel caliper brackets for direct bolt-on installation to the OEM caliper bracket location. Standard components include (2) forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, (2) lightweight two-piece rotors (slotted or drilled), a set of SC5 street brake pads, and (2) stainless steel brake lines. The D.O.T compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines reduce line expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. The included SC5 Ceramic pads provide optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use, offering reduced dust and noise compared to race pads. Ksport offers extensive customization for the caliper finish, including standard painted colors like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, as well as premium high-polish finishes in Silver, Gold, and Titanium.
