Slimline 3-Piston Big Brake Kit

Its unique Slimline Caliper design is based on the thickness of OEM single-side floating piston calipers, allowing it to fit within the limited space behind larger diameter wheels. This kit is appropriate for 17-inch wheels and above, and is ideal for vehicles running low-offset or aggressive-fitting wheels. The calipers themselves are forged from aerospace-quality aluminum for extreme lightweight strength and feature an opposed-piston design for consistent pad grip and wear. They are equipped with aluminum pistons, heavy-duty seals, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The kit includes lightweight, two-piece rotors that can be either cross-drilled for daily driving or slotted for track use, offering improved fade resistance and grip. The two-piece design, with its 6061-T6 aluminum center sections, reduces rotational mass and minimizes rotor warping from heat buildup. Standard equipment includes SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal braking performance under street and occasional track conditions with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions. The kit also features DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. Included carbon steel caliper brackets allow the system to bolt directly to OEM caliper bracket locations. The standard kit includes everything needed: calipers, two-piece rotors (slotted or drilled), SC5 street brake pads, stainless steel brake lines, and all mounting components and hardware. Ksport offers a 12-month limited warranty covering manufacturer defects. Note that Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, requiring a 4-6 week production and delivery time. Custom caliper color options and upgrades for the center bell are also available.
