Slimline 3-Piston Front Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Slimline Big Brake Kit is a specialized front brake upgrade system designed for Subaru Forester models produced between 1998 and 2002. This kit directly addresses the challenge of fitting high-performance braking systems with aggressive wheel setups, which often have limited clearance. The Slimline Caliper's design is based on OEM single-side piston caliper thickness, ensuring compatibility with most factory or aftermarket wheels that have restricted space between the caliper and the wheel's back. This allows enthusiasts to upgrade to a big brake kit without sacrificing wheel choice. The kit utilizes 3-piston calipers and 330mm slotted two-piece rotors. The calipers are available in standard colors like orange, red, black, and yellow, with premium options for high polish or custom finishes. Each kit includes CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets for a direct bolt-on installation to the OEM caliper bracket location. The package also contains Ksport's SC5 Street Brake Pads, which offer a balance of braking performance for street and occasional track use, with reduced dust and noise. D.O.T compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also included to enhance pedal response and feel. Ksport offers a choice between slotted or cross-drilled rotors. Slotted rotors are recommended for track use, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily driven vehicles due to their cooler operating temperatures. The kit includes two forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, two lightweight two-piece rotors, one set of SC5 Street Brake Pads, two stainless steel brake lines, and all necessary mounting hardware. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with an estimated production and delivery time of 4-6 weeks.
