The Ksport Slimline Front Big Brake Kit provides a significant upgrade for your Volkswagen MK3 Golf, featuring a 286mm diameter and 22mm thickness rotor with a 4x100 bolt pattern. Constructed for enhanced performance and durability, the kit utilizes lightweight forged one-piece aluminum calipers, minimizing weak spots and resistance to warping or failure. The opposed-piston design ensures consistent brake pad grip and wear. Inside, you'll find aluminum pistons protected by heavy-duty seals capable of handling racetrack temperatures, along with titanium brake pad retainer clips and stainless-steel wear plates. Their construction from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum in the center sections reduces rotational mass and improves heat dissipation. The rotors are heat-treated and balanced, with options for cross-drilled (recommended for daily driving) or slotted (recommended for track use) surfaces. This Big Brake System comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal braking under street and occasional track conditions with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track use. The kit includes D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer feel.
