The Ksport Slimline Big Brake Kit addresses the growing popularity of aggressive wheel fitments by offering a caliper design based on OEM single-side piston caliper thickness. This allows for compatibility with many factory or aftermarket wheels that have limited brake caliper clearance, a common issue with larger multi-piston brake kits. The kit utilizes a 3-piston caliper design, maintaining the appearance of Ksport's multi-piston calipers while offering a slimmer profile. Each kit includes CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets to ensure a direct bolt-on installation to the OEM caliper bracket location. Standard with the kit are NAOC Ceramic SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal street and occasional track use, offering reduced dust and noise compared to race pads. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also included, providing a quicker pedal response and firmer pedal feel by preventing expansion under pressure. This specific kit is designed for the Honda Civic FB models from 2012-2015, specifically for the 1.8L and 2.0L engines. It explicitly excludes the Si model. The rotors are available in either slotted or cross-drilled options, with slotted recommended for track use and cross-drilled for daily driving due to better cooling.
