The Ksport Slimline Front Big Brake Kit is engineered for Volkswagen B3 and B4 Passat models, offering a significant upgrade in braking performance. This kit features a 350mm x 22mm rotor size and a unique Slimline 3-piston caliper designed to fit within limited wheel spacing, often accommodating factory wheels. The caliper is constructed from a lightweight, forged one-piece billet of aerospace-quality aluminum, providing exceptional strength and eliminating potential weak spots. Its opposed-piston design ensures consistent brake pad grip and wear, while high-temperature seals, titanium retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates contribute to longevity and reliable performance. The caliper pistons are made from aluminum and protected with heavy-duty seals capable of handling racetrack temperatures. The 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum center sections lower rotational mass for improved brake response. This design also allows the outer rotor section to expand and contract independently, reducing warping from heat buildup. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Included standard are SC5 Street Pads, known for their optimal braking performance in street and occasional track conditions, with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track use. The kit also comes with D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which enhance pedal response and feel by eliminating expansion under pressure.
