Traditional multi-piston calipers often lack the necessary clearance between the caliper and the back of the wheel. Ksport's innovative Slimline Caliper design mimics the thickness of OEM single-side piston calipers, ensuring compatibility with most factory wheels and those featuring very limited brake caliper clearance. This front brake system utilizes 3-piston calipers and is constructed with CNC machined carbon steel caliper brackets for direct bolt-on installation to OEM caliper bracket locations. Customers can choose between drilled or slotted rotors; drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers for cooler operation, while slotted rotors are suggested for track use. Included standard are Ksport's SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal braking performance for street and occasional track conditions with reduced dust and noise. The kit also features D.O.T compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent expansion under pressure for a quicker, firmer pedal response compared to stock rubber lines. Customization options are available for caliper colors, rotor styles, and even premium finishes for the brake calipers. This kit is specifically designed for Volvo V50 and S40 models from 2004-2012 with Front-Wheel Drive (FWD).
