The caliper itself is a lightweight, forged one-piece construction from aerospace-quality aluminum, eliminating weak spots and ensuring consistent strength and operation over time. It utilizes an opposed-piston design for even brake pad grip and wear, and is protected by heavy-duty seals, titanium retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates. The two-piece rotor design contributes to reduced weight, improved fade-free performance, and effective grip. The lightweight center sections are crafted from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, lowering rotational mass for quicker response and easier stopping. The independent expansion of the rotor sections minimizes warping due to heat. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers as they run cooler, while slotted rotors are suggested for track use due to their enhanced "bite" and gas/heat dissipation. Standard kits include calipers, floating brake discs, SC5 Street Pads, and all required hardware. Various caliper color options and pad/center bell upgrades are available to personalize your setup.
