The Ksport Slimline Front Big Brake Kit offers a significant upgrade for the Volkswagen B5 Passat, designed to provide enhanced stopping power and improve wheel fitment compatibility. This kit features a one-piece forged aluminum caliper, which is extremely lightweight and constructed from a solid billet to ensure uniform thickness and superior strength, eliminating potential weak spots found in cast or welded calipers. The caliper pistons are made from aluminum and protected by heavy-duty seals capable of handling high temperatures, while an opposed-piston design ensures consistent brake pad grip and wear. The two-piece rotor design contributes to a lightweight, fade-free performance suitable for both track use and daily driving. The two-piece construction also reduces the likelihood of rotor warping due to heat buildup. This kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, which offer optimal braking performance under street conditions with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track use. The kit includes everything needed for installation: calipers, floating brake discs, brake pads, and all required hardware. Ksport calipers are designed with a slimline profile to accommodate aggressive wheel fitments. The kit is made to order and is non-refundable. A 12-month limited warranty covers manufacturer defects.
