The caliper is a lightweight, forged one-piece design crafted from aerospace-quality aluminum. This construction eliminates weak spots, preventing fracturing, warpage, and failure. It features aluminum pistons protected by heavy-duty seals capable of withstanding high temperatures, ensuring smooth and even brake pad operation. The opposed-piston design guarantees consistent brake pad grip and wear. Standard inclusions are high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The rotors feature 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum center sections, reducing rotational mass for quicker response. This design allows the outer rotor to expand and contract independently, minimizing warping due to heat. The aluminum center sections also act as heat sinks, dissipating heat effectively. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles as they run cooler than slotted rotors, while slotted rotors are suggested for more track-focused use.
