The Ksport Slimline Big Brake Kit provides a significant brake upgrade for the Mercedes Benz C219 CLS, specifically for the front application with 350x22mm rotors. This system is engineered with a Slimline Caliper design, which is based on the OEM single-side floating piston caliper thickness, ensuring compatibility with many factory wheels and tight caliper clearances. Constructed with a lightweight forged one-piece caliper made from aerospace-quality aluminum, this kit offers enhanced strength and durability, eliminating weak spots that can lead to failure. The opposed-piston design ensures consistent brake pad grip and wear. The system also features a two-piece rotor design, which is significantly lighter than OEM one-piece rotors, contributing to lower rotational mass and improved brake response. The two-piece design allows for independent expansion and contraction of the rotor and center section, reducing the risk of warping due to heat buildup. Stainless steel braided brake lines are included, providing a firmer pedal feel and quicker response by preventing expansion under pressure. This kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal braking performance for street use and occasional track conditions, with reduced brake dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for those who prioritize extreme track stopping power, though these are not recommended for street use. Options for caliper color customization are extensive, ranging from standard painted colors to premium high polish and custom finishes. Additional upgrades for the center bell, such as Titanium or Twin Color Anodized options, are also available.
