The Ksport Slimline Big Brake Kit is engineered to provide enhanced braking performance for your 2015-2018 Subaru WRX STI, addressing the common fitment issues associated with aggressive wheel offsets and aftermarket big brake kits. Ksport developed the Slimline Caliper specifically to maintain compatibility with factory or closely spaced wheels, utilizing a design based on OEM single-side piston caliper thickness. This kit includes a forged aluminum 6-piston caliper in an orange finish, paired with 330mm (13-inch) 2-piece slotted and vented rotors. The rotors feature an aluminum center to reduce rotational mass, contributing to quicker braking response and shorter stopping distances. The 2-piece construction also helps mitigate rotor warp by allowing for more unrestricted expansion and contraction. The included street performance brake pads offer a larger surface area than OEM pads for improved stopping power, while the stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under high temperatures, leading to a firmer and more responsive pedal feel. The kit necessitates a minimum wheel diameter of 17 inches (432mm).
