The Ksport Slimline Big Brake Kit provides a significant upgrade for the braking system of your BMW E30 3-Series. Constructed with a lightweight, forged one-piece aluminum caliper, this system ensures strength and even thickness to prevent fracturing, warpage, and failure. The caliper utilizes three pistons and is equipped with high-temperature seals, titanium retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates for durability. The two-piece rotor design, measuring 286x22mm, offers lightweight construction and fade-free performance. The rotor's two-piece design also helps mitigate warping due to heat buildup. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, which offer optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use, reducing dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for those seeking maximum stopping power under extreme track conditions, though these are not recommended for daily street use. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included, which prevent hose expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. Customization options are available, including a wide range of caliper colors, from standard options like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, to premium high-polish finishes and custom color choices.
