The Ksport Slimline Front Big Brake Kit, part number BKAU010-342CO, is engineered for the Audi B6 A4, offering enhanced stopping power with its 350mm x 22mm rotor and 3-piston caliper design. It features aluminum pistons with heavy-duty seals capable of handling high temperatures, ensuring smooth operation and preventing corrosion. Opposed-piston design guarantees consistent brake pad grip and wear, while high-temperature seals, titanium retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates are standard. The rotors feature 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum center sections to reduce rotational mass, leading to quicker response and easier wheel stopping. The two-piece design allows the rotor's outer section to expand and contract independently, reducing warping. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles as they run cooler, while slotted rotors are recommended for more track-focused use. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal performance for street and occasional track use with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions. The kit also includes D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which improve pedal response and feel by eliminating line expansion under pressure.
