The Ksport Slimline Front Big Brake Kit offers a significant upgrade in stopping power and performance for BMW E36 and Z3 models. This kit features a 330mm x 22mm two-piece rotor design, crafted with lightweight 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum center sections to reduce rotational mass and improve brake response. The rotors are heat-treated and balanced, with cross-drilled options recommended for daily driven vehicles due to their cooler running temperatures compared to slotted rotors. The calipers are forged from a one-piece billet of aerospace-quality aluminum, ensuring strength and even thickness to prevent fracturing, warpage, and failure. They are equipped with aluminum pistons, heavy-duty seals for high temperatures, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates for consistent pad grip and wear. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also included, which eliminate expansion under pressure for a quicker pedal response and firmer feel. This kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal braking performance under street and occasional track conditions with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track use. Calipers are available in a range of colors, including Ksport Orange, with premium finish options for enhanced customization. All Ksport Big Brake Kits include a 12-month limited warranty against manufacturer defects.
