The Ksport Slimline Big Brake Kit provides a bolt-on upgrade for the BMW F13 6-Series, designed for easy installation with minimal tools and no vehicle modifications required. This kit features a lightweight forged one-piece caliper constructed from aerospace-quality aluminum, offering superior strength and even thickness to prevent fracturing and warpage. The caliper pistons are aluminum and protected by heavy-duty seals, with an opposed-piston design ensuring consistent brake pad wear. Standard features include high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The two-piece rotor design, with a 350mm diameter and 22mm thickness, offers lightweight construction and fade-free performance for both track and street use. The design allows the outer rotor section to expand and contract independently, reducing warping, while the aluminum center acts as a heat sink. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driving as they run cooler than slotted rotors. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included, providing a quicker pedal response and firmer pedal feel over stock rubber lines. This kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal braking performance under street and occasional track conditions with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions. The calipers can be customized with various colors and premium finishes.
