The Ksport Slimline Big Brake Kit is engineered for the MINI R50 Cooper, offering a significant upgrade in stopping power and performance. This front big brake system features lightweight, forged one-piece aluminum calipers with a 3-piston design, ensuring consistent brake pad grip and wear. The calipers are equipped with high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates for durability and optimal performance. The kit includes two-piece, 350mm x 22mm drilled rotors. The two-piece design allows for independent expansion and contraction of the rotor sections, reducing warping due to heat buildup, while the aluminum center sections act as effective heat sinks. Drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles as they tend to run cooler. The kit comes complete with calipers, floating brake discs, brake pads (SC5 Street Pads are standard, with an option to upgrade to RCI Race Pads), and all required hardware, including CNC machined carbon steel caliper brackets to ensure a direct bolt-on fitment to OEM caliper bracket locations. Customization options are available for caliper color, including standard finishes like orange, red, black, and yellow, as well as premium high polish and various other specialized finishes for a unique aesthetic. Additionally, upgrades for the center bell and hardware are available, including Titanium or Twin Color Anodized options. This product is made to order and is non-refundable.
