The Ksport Slimline Big Brake Kit is engineered as a front big brake system specifically for the BMW E85/E86 Z4 M, featuring a 350x22mm rotor size. This kit utilizes a lightweight forged one-piece caliper, constructed from aerospace-quality aluminum, eliminating weak spots and ensuring strength and even thickness. The opposed-piston design promotes consistent brake pad grip and wear, while heavy-duty seals and titanium retainer clips handle high temperatures. The 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum center sections lower rotational mass, enhancing brake response. This design also reduces the likelihood of rotor warping due to heat expansion, as the outer section can move independently. These rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance, with cross-drilled options recommended for daily driving to run cooler than slotted rotors. Kits come standard with everything needed for installation, including calipers, floating brake discs, brake pads (SC5 Street Pads included, with an option to upgrade to RCI Race Pads), and all required hardware. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, providing quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel.
