The Ksport Slimline Big Brake Kit is a high-performance braking upgrade for the front of your BMW F15 X5. This kit is engineered with a focus on easy installation, requiring minimal tools and typically no vehicle modifications. Constructed with lightweight, forged one-piece aluminum calipers, this system offers superior strength and even thickness to prevent common issues like fracturing and warpage. The calipers feature opposed-piston designs for consistent brake pad wear and grip, and are equipped with high-temperature seals and titanium retainer clips. Ksport offers both cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily driven vehicles, and slotted rotors for those with more track use. This kit includes calipers, floating brake discs, brake pads (standard SC5 Street Pads, with an option to upgrade to RCI Race Pads), and all necessary hardware. Various caliper color options are available, including standard colors like Ksport Orange and premium finishes. The system also features D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines for improved pedal response and feel.
