The Ksport Slimline Big Brake Kit is engineered to provide superior stopping power and performance for your BMW F16 X6. This front big brake upgrade system utilizes lightweight forged one-piece calipers, which are constructed from a solid billet of aerospace-quality aluminum. This construction eliminates weak spots and ensures strength and even thickness across the caliper, preventing fracturing, warpage, and failure over time. The opposed-piston design ensures consistent brake pad grip and wear, while high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates are standard. The kit features a two-piece rotor design with 350mm x 22mm dimensions, crafted for lightweight, fade-free performance. The rotors are made with 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum center sections, reducing rotational mass for quicker brake response. This two-piece design also allows the outer rotor section to expand and contract independently, greatly reducing the risk of warping due to heat buildup. The center sections act as heat sinks, dissipating heat away from the hub assembly, leading to a longer service life compared to traditional one-piece rotors. The kit includes SC5 Street Pads, with an option to upgrade to RCI Race Pads for extreme track conditions. The kit comes standard with everything necessary for installation, including calipers, floating brake discs, brake pads, and all required hardware. A 12-month limited warranty covers manufacturer defects. Calipers are available in a wide array of standard and premium custom color finishes.
