The Ksport Slimline Big Brake Kit is engineered to offer a significant braking performance upgrade for your 1997-2001 Honda Prelude. Its "Slimline" caliper design is specifically developed to maintain compatibility with factory wheels or aftermarket wheels that have very limited brake caliper clearance, a common challenge with other big brake kits. This kit includes a 3-piston caliper with a slim profile, ensuring it fits where larger calipers might not. The calipers are manufactured with CNC machined carbon steel caliper brackets, allowing for a direct bolt-on installation to your vehicle's OEM caliper bracket location. Standard caliper colors include Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, with options for premium finishes like Silver, Gold, Titanium, and various anodized colors. The kit comes with NAOC "SC5" Ceramic pads, which are formulated for optimal braking performance in street conditions and occasional track use, offering reduced dust and noise compared to race pads. To further enhance braking feel and response, the kit includes D.O.T. compliant stainless steel braided brake lines. These lines resist expansion under pressure, resulting in a firmer pedal feel and quicker pedal response compared to stock rubber lines. You can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers as they run cooler, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use.
