The Ksport Slimline Big Brake Kit provides a significant upgrade for the braking system of your Volkswagen MK1 Golf. This front kit features 3-piston calipers paired with 286mm x 22mm two-piece rotors, designed for easy installation with minimal tools and no vehicle modifications required in most applications. The kit comes complete with calipers, floating brake discs, brake pads (SC5 Street Pads included with an option to upgrade to RCI Race Pads), and all required hardware. The calipers are constructed from lightweight, forged one-piece aluminum for superior strength and even thickness, eliminating weak spots. They incorporate heavy-duty seals for high temperatures and an opposed-piston design for consistent brake pad grip and wear. The rotors are heat-treated and balanced, with options for either cross-drilled (recommended for daily driving) or slotted (recommended for track use) surfaces. Customization options include a wide range of caliper colors, from standard painted finishes to premium high polish and specialty anodized options. Further personalization is available with upgrades to titanium center bells and hardware.
