Slimline Big Brake Kit Front

The Ksport Slimline Big Brake Kit is a high-performance front brake upgrade engineered for the Volvo S60. The calipers are crafted from a single billet of aerospace-quality aluminum, featuring a forged one-piece construction for maximum strength and even thickness. This design eliminates weak spots and ensures consistent operation, even under extreme temperatures. The pistons are aluminum and protected by heavy-duty seals, while the opposed-piston design guarantees even brake pad grip and wear. Standard features include high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. This kit utilizes a two-piece rotor design, available in both cross-drilled and slotted options. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles as they run cooler, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use due to their ability to manage heat, dust, and gases. The two-piece design, with its 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum center sections, significantly reduces rotational mass and heat buildup, preventing rotor warping and extending service life. The rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Included are Ksport's SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal braking performance for street and occasional track conditions with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track use. The kit also features D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which eliminate hose expansion under pressure for a quicker pedal response and firmer pedal feel. All Ksport Big Brake Kits come with a 12-month limited warranty.
