The Ksport Slimline Front Big Brake Kit provides a significant upgrade for your Volkswagen MK4 Golf's braking system. This kit is engineered with a lightweight, forged one-piece caliper constructed from aerospace-quality aluminum, ensuring exceptional strength and even thickness to prevent warpage and failure. The opposed-piston design guarantees consistent brake pad grip and wear, while high-temperature seals and titanium retainer clips handle extreme conditions. Featuring a two-piece rotor design, these big brake systems offer reduced weight and fade-free performance suitable for both track and street use. This design also allows for independent expansion and contraction of the rotor sections, greatly reducing the risk of warping due to heat buildup. The two-piece rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. This kit comes standard with everything needed for installation, including calipers, floating brake discs, SC5 Street Pads, and all required hardware. The Slimline caliper's design is based on OEM single-side floating piston caliper thickness, facilitating easier installation with minimal tools and no vehicle modifications required in most applications. Stainless-steel braided brake lines are also included, providing a quicker pedal response and firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines.
