The Ksport Slimline Front Big Brake Kit (BKVW041-332CO) offers a significant upgrade for your Volkswagen MK4 R32's braking system. The caliper's opposed-piston design promotes even brake pad wear, while high-temperature seals and titanium retainer clips are standard. The kit utilizes a two-piece rotor design, available in cross-drilled or slotted options. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles as they run cooler, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use due to their ability to manage heat, dust, and gases. The two-piece rotors are significantly lighter than OEM equivalents, reducing rotational mass for quicker stopping response and improved acceleration. These rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. The kit includes calipers, floating brake discs, SC5 Street Pads, and all necessary hardware, including CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets that ensure proper fitment to OEM locations. Stainless-steel braided brake lines are also included, providing a firmer pedal feel and quicker response compared to standard rubber lines. Customization options are available, including various caliper colors and finishes, as well as upgrades to RCI Race Pads for extreme track conditions. Center bell upgrades, such as Titanium or twin-color anodized options, are also available. Please note that this product is made to order and is non-refundable once placed.
