The Ksport Slimline Front Big Brake Kit offers a significant upgrade for your Volkswagen G60 Corrado, providing enhanced stopping power and performance. Its aluminum pistons are protected by high-temperature seals and feature an opposed-piston layout for uniform brake pad engagement and wear. The rotors feature lightweight 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum center sections that lower rotational mass, improving brake response. This design also minimizes rotor warping due to heat buildup and enhances heat dissipation. For daily driven vehicles, cross-drilled rotors are recommended for cooler operation, while slotted rotors are suggested for track use to manage heat, dust, and gases more effectively. Both rotor types offer improved "bite" and keep the pad surface clean. Included standard are SC5 Street Pads, which offer optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use, with reduced dust and noise. For more extreme track conditions, an upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available. The kit also features D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent line expansion under pressure, leading to a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. Carbon steel caliper brackets are CNC machined to ensure a direct bolt-up to OEM locations. Various caliper color options, including premium high polish and custom finishes, are available, along with upgrades for the center bell and hardware.
