The Ksport Slimline Big Brake Kit provides a significant bolt-on upgrade for the Audi 100 Quattro's braking system. The system includes calipers, floating brake discs, brake pads, and all necessary hardware for a complete installation. The caliper itself is a lightweight, forged one-piece design crafted from aerospace-quality aluminum, ensuring even thickness, strength, and resistance to fracturing, warpage, and failure. Caliper pistons are made from aluminum and feature heavy-duty seals for racetrack temperatures, while an opposed-piston design guarantees consistent brake pad grip and wear. High-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates are standard. This kit utilizes a two-piece rotor design for lightweight, fade-free performance and effective grip. The two-piece construction also helps prevent warping due to heat buildup. The kit includes SC5 Street Pads, which offer optimal braking in street and occasional track conditions, reducing dust by over 50% and noise compared to race pads. D.O.T compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, providing a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. Customization options are available, including various caliper colors (Orange, Red, Black, Yellow) and premium high-polish finishes (Silver, Gold, Titanium), as well as Glassy/Hard Anodized colors. Options to upgrade to RCI Race Pads, which are suited for extreme track conditions, are also available. Center bell upgrades, such as Titanium Center Bell and Hardware or Twin Color Anodized Center Bell, can further personalize the system.
