The Ksport Slimline Big Brake Kit offers a sophisticated bolt-on brake upgrade for your BMW E46 3 Series (1999-2005), specifically designed for models with the 3.5L V6 engine. Ksport has developed the Slimline Caliper with an OEM-style single-side floating piston caliper thickness for easy installation with minimal tools and no vehicle modifications required in most applications. Constructed from aerospace-quality aluminum, the lightweight forged one-piece caliper provides exceptional strength and an even thickness to eliminate weak spots that can lead to fracturing or failure. The caliper pistons are made from aluminum and protected by heavy-duty seals capable of handling high temperatures, ensuring smooth and consistent operation. Additional features include high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The kit incorporates a two-piece rotor design for lightweight, fade-free performance and effective grip. This design also minimizes rotor warping due to heat buildup. Ksport offers both Cross Drilled rotors, recommended for daily drivers for cooler operation, and Slotted rotors, recommended for track use to help dissipate heat, dust, and gases. Included standard are SC5 Street Pads, which offer optimal performance for street and occasional track use with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions. The kit also includes D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines for a quicker pedal response and firmer pedal feel.
