Developed with a caliper thickness similar to OEM single-side piston designs, this kit allows for significant brake upgrades without compromising wheel fitment. This front big brake kit for the Acura RSX DC5 (2002-2006 base model) features 3-piston calipers and 330mm slotted two-piece rotors. Caliper brackets are CNC machined from carbon steel to ensure a direct bolt-on fit to the OEM caliper bracket location. Included are SC5 Street Brake Pads, designed for optimal braking performance in street conditions and occasional track use, while also minimizing brake dust and rotor wear. The kit also comes with D.O.T compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which enhance pedal response and firmness by preventing expansion under pressure. Customization options are available for caliper colors, including standard Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, with premium finishes like Silver, Gold, and Titanium, as well as Glassy/Hard Anodized colors. Buyers can also choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; slotted rotors are recommended for track use, while cross-drilled are suggested for daily driven vehicles due to cooler operating temperatures.
