Description

Ksport developed the Slimline Caliper with a design based on the OEM single-side piston caliper thickness, ensuring compatibility with most factory wheels or those offering very limited brake caliper spacing. This kit enhances braking performance through its forged aluminum caliper, which utilizes a larger brake pad surface area compared to OEM pads, and includes two-piece vented discs that contribute to lowering unsprung weight. This specific kit, model BKVW081-312CO, features a 3-piston caliper with an aluminum piston and casting. The rotors are 286x22mm (11.3 x 0.87 inches) and are drilled for improved heat dissipation and aesthetics. The kit comes with mounting brackets, caliper slides, and anti-rattle springs, though pad shims are not included. The ceramic friction material composition offers a balance of performance and durability. This big brake kit is specifically designed for the 1988-1992 Volkswagen Corrado models that came equipped with 2-piece OE caliper setups.
