The Ksport Slimline Front Big Brake Kit is engineered to provide a significant braking performance upgrade for the Volkswagen MK2 Golf. The opposed-piston design promotes consistent brake pad grip and wear, while high-temperature seals, titanium retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates contribute to durability. The accompanying two-piece rotors are crafted for lightweight performance and fade resistance, with the outer section of the rotor expanding and contracting independently from the center section to reduce warping. The center sections, made from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, act as effective heat sinks, lowering rotational mass and improving brake response. Standard SC5 Street Pads are included, offering optimal braking for daily driving and occasional track use with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for dedicated track applications. Kits come standard with everything needed for installation, including calipers, floating brake discs, brake pads, and all required hardware. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, providing a quicker pedal response and firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines.
