The Ksport Slimline Front Big Brake Kit is a high-performance braking upgrade engineered for the Volkswagen B7 Passat Late Model. It comes standard with everything needed, including calipers, floating brake discs, brake pads, and all required hardware. The caliper is a lightweight, forged one-piece design crafted from aerospace-quality aluminum, offering superior strength and eliminating weak spots. It features opposed pistons for consistent brake pad grip and wear, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. This design also allows for independent expansion and contraction of rotor sections, reducing warping. The rotors are heat-treated and balanced, with options for cross-drilled (recommended for daily driving) or slotted (recommended for track use) surfaces. Standard equipment includes SC5 Street Pads, which offer optimal braking performance for street use with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions. The kit includes D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines for improved pedal response and feel. Custom caliper color options are available, including standard painted colors and premium high-polish or anodized finishes.
