The Ksport Slimline Front Big Brake Kit offers a significant braking upgrade for the BMW E36 3-Series, featuring a 330mm x 22mm rotor size. Engineered with a focus on weight reduction and performance, this kit utilizes a lightweight forged one-piece caliper constructed from aerospace-quality aluminum. This design eliminates weak spots and ensures strength and even thickness. The caliper pistons are aluminum, protected by high-temperature seals and heavy-duty designs to withstand track conditions. Additionally, an opposed-piston design promotes consistent brake pad wear, while standard features include high-temperature seals, titanium retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates. The two-piece rotor design contributes to lightweight, fade-free performance and effective grip. The independent expansion and contraction of the rotor sections minimize warping due to heat, and the aluminum center sections act as heat sinks. This kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use, with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions. The kit includes calipers, floating brake discs, street pads, and all required hardware. The Slimline Caliper design is based on the OEM single-side floating piston caliper thickness.
