SM-AFR + DM-6 Wideband Oxygen Sensor Package

The PLX Devices SM-AFR + DM-6 52mm Wideband Oxygen Sensor Package represents the next generation of wideband oxygen sensor controllers, incorporating intelligent health monitoring for enhanced performance. This Gen4 system employs the latest Bosch Wideband Air/Fuel Ratio sensor technology, offering improvements in speed, accuracy, durability, and power consumption over the Gen3. At its core, the SM-AFR controller meticulously monitors the oxygen sensor every 2ms (488 times per second) to maintain optimal performance, precision, and responsiveness. This advanced monitoring is complemented by the patented DM-6 touch screen MultiGauge, which displays crucial information such as battery voltage (9V-20V), sensor life (0-100%), and oxygen sensor reaction time (10ms/1000ms) on a high-contrast OLED screen. This wideband AFR (UEGO) gauge combo is designed for versatility and compatibility with a wide range of fuels, including gasoline, bio diesel, ethanol, methanol, E85, LPG, and CNG. It provides two analog outputs – a wideband 0-5V and a narrowband 0-1V – for interfacing with third-party devices like aftermarket ECUs and data loggers. Additionally, a digital serial output is available for integration with the DM-6 gauge and other Multi Gauges. The simulated narrowband analog output can even replace a stock narrowband sensor, allowing the ECU to function as if the original sensor were still installed while utilizing the PLX wideband setup. All three outputs can be utilized concurrently. The system also features advanced soft start technology to extend the oxygen sensor's lifespan and is housed in a durable, reliable aluminum enclosure.
