Small Block Chevy to Z32 5-Speed Transmission Adapter Kit

The GForce GF-SBCZ32-S transmission adapter and flywheel kit facilitates the mating of a Nissan 300zx (Z32) 5-speed transmission to a Small Block Chevy (SBC) engine. The Z32 transmission is known for its strength and smooth shifting capabilities. This adapter kit is compatible with any internally balanced Gen 1 Small Block Chevy engine manufactured between 1955 and 1985. The kit comprises a custom steel flywheel, a 3/8" steel powder-coated adapter plate, a pilot bushing adapter, and necessary hardware. The included flywheel is designed for use with 1990-1996 naturally aspirated 300zx transmissions, supporting both naturally aspirated and Twin Turbo (TT) pressure plate/clutch setups. It utilizes a stock 300zx pilot bushing with an included machined steel adapter. The system also employs the 300zx starter, which mounts to the side of the transmission. It is important to note that this kit will not work with a Twin Turbo Z32 transmission due to its slightly larger bellhousing, which alters the starter's position relative to the flywheel ring gear, preventing engagement. The GF-SBCZ32-S requires a 300zx pressure plate/clutch and throw-out bearing, with either the naturally aspirated or twin-turbo pressure plate/clutch disc being usable. For installation, several bolt kits and dowel pins are sold separately: the flywheel to crank bolt kit (GF-LSFB-SET), the pressure plate to flywheel bolt kit (GF-Z32PPB-KIT), and pressure plate dowel pins for the flywheel (GF-LSZ32-D).
